The best way to describe her is to honestly quote her official profile: "At a young age, Hanako had a traumatic experience that left her life in shambles. Her father died when their home burned down in an accident, which also disfigured Hanako herself permanently. She is reclusive to the extreme, shunning from all other people to the point of actually panicking from any social contact."

You can learn more by reading her app, though obviously that comes with spoiler warnings. Also, I strongly recommend you make use of her permissions post. I signed her up to be a housekeeper, incidentally. Also, her name here is going to be 艾, taken from her name 華子. It reads as "Yomogi" (よもぎ). So... Yeah. Yomogi. Kanji games are fun.
