Mod Announcement: Discussions of revamping the community!
Hey guys! There have been talk of how the community needs a little more focus and more plots/events in order hold the player's interest so the mods would like to open this up for players to discuss what they would like to see happen here at HBG. Let us know what works, what hasn't work, what you would like to see implemented too so that we could get a better idea of what changes we'll need to make so that the game is more enjoyable for you!
From the mod stand point, we've been discussing ways to involve more of the other Ghibli worlds either via an event or something more permanent such as using the train system.
Here are some things that have been suggested to us thus far. Please keep in mind that nothing is written in stone and things can be altered so that it could work out. Don't be afraid to throw your ideas at us and we will do our best to make it happen!
Also, there will be some downtime while we try to figure everything out and revamp the place.
Suggestions made by players:
-A catbus that will take some characters away in attempt to escape. Yubaba on this day will be making stricter rounds since there will be an important guest at the bathhouse. Other players will have to figure out a way to get characters back to the bathhouse before they are found by her and turned into pigs.
-Bathhouse maze that leads to a secret place, like in Totoro.
-An event where people's lost memories are switched for a time or two and accessible to the wrong people.
-Ways to actually interact with Yubaba
-Ways to lose more memories via an event, etc.
-Easier way to purchase train tickets since they are expensive.
-Falling stars demons
-Creepy blob visitors
-Bo and potty training
-Bo tampering with Yubaba's spells that causes an accident and opens up doors that connect to the other worlds. Then some patrons could end up in those worlds and cause a problem or players lost in them.
-Some days have the influence of the other worlds seeping from them into the bathhouse area, such as stars raining around the bathhouse area and if people pick those things up and give something up, the effects don't start showing until months down the line (then Yubaba has to fix it)
