The normally empty train tracks are now quite busy. A small red train makes it way down the track, maybe three times a day. It pauses at the small concrete station that sits in the ocean by the bathhouse. No one ever gets on, and no one ever gets off.

The train leaves, and ventures forward.
A NEW WORLD HAS BEEN DISCOVERED!

HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE-The first stop on the train tracks is a place where witches and wizards reign among the most powerful. This place was torn apart by war, and the scar can still be seen in the healing nations. Those who possess the gift of magic will be highly regarded here, but be warned for that comes with a price.

Plot Announcement;

There will be a plot unfolding throughout all of May. During the month several powerful gods can been seen in the bathhouse, taking a vacation as it were. Some of these gods will happily converse with you, while others would most likely prefer to trick and deceive you.

Gods to be on the lookout for:

Amaterasu: The Sun goddess and Shinto’s most powerful deity. A very beautiful goddess, she seems to shine like the sun itself. She will be seen throughout the month, but only before and after the sun sets. She will always be seen with guards accompanying her, but she would be happy for company.

Tsukuyomi: The Moon god and brother to Amaterasu. Like his sister, he will be staying the entire month, but he can only be seen in the daylight hours. He isn’t as friendly as his sister, as he will only speak to those of supernatural decent.

Izanagi: The father god. He has no idea that his former wife will be staying at the bathhouse after he leaves, and he would prefer not to speak of her or of demons and the Underworld. He will be staying from the 1st to the 15th.

Izanami: The mother goddess of Creation and Death. She will be staying the last half of the month (16th-31st). She was once a very beautiful goddess, but now her beauty has faded, and a dark aura surrounds her. When the moonlight touches her, her body is seen as a corpse of rotting flesh, so she is rarely seen outside during the night time.

The Lucky Seven: The lucky seven will be staying for the last week of the month. They include:

Hotei- God of Abundance and Good Health. He is a fat man in long flowing robes. He is very friendly and will offer anyone passing by to take a seat with him in the tea room and share some sake. If anyone takes him up on this offer, the sake and food will never run out. Once your character leaves they will feel very refreshed and be in perfect health.

Jurōjin- God of longevity. He is a very elderly man, with a deer accompanying him everywhere. He carries a scroll with the life spans of every living being in the world. He guards this scroll well and will punish those who try to take it, but if you do manage to pry it from his hands maybe you can find your own name...

Fukurokuju- God of Happiness and Wealth. He will be seen outside of the bathhouse, dressed as an elderly man and begging for food. Those who help him will be granted his blessings of wealth, and will find a gold piece on their pillow. Those who scorn him will be granted with bad luck.

Bishamonten- God of warriors. He will seen as a monstrous beast, tearing the town apart. Anyone who defeats him will be granted his blessings of power. The character will be given a supernatural power, those who lose will suffer a terrible burn in the kanji of 弱 (weak).

Benzaiten- Goddess of knowledge, art and beauty. She will be seen in the theater. She is very picky customer and will constantly be asking for new songs to be played or new dances to entertain her. To anyone who can tolerant her she will grant the blessings of knowledge, anyone who loses their temper, however, will be forced to dance or play for 24 hours.

Daikokuten- God of commerce and trade. He has opened up a small shop in town. The shop is full of odds and ends and everything looks to be junk. However, everything in this shop is either cursed or blessed in some way.

Ebisu- God of fishermen. He is seen by the ocean, in the form of a dying fish. Anyone who is kind enough to help the poor fish back to water will be granted his blessings of healing, but be warned, anyone who tries to eat or just ignores the fish will be cursed by having the bones in their legs removed for 24 hours.
Additional Announcement;

It has come to our attention that money is rather hard to come by here — a bit too hard. To fix this, there has been a change in the pay roll: pay day is now EVERY FRIDAY. With this new system, your character should be making at least 2 pieces of gold (and some change) a month. So get out there and start saving for items, memories, and train tickets!

Also, we are having another movie showing this month! Everyone is invited to join us Tuesday at 9pm EST to watch HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE. This invitation extends to everyone, even those not currently members of HBG.
